My lifeguard be like...

Hey there!

I hope your Christmas was awesome!
Today I’m back with a new topic about our own lifeguard.
Let’s start!

We all have a lifeguard who even walks on water. A lifeguard that is able to save every one, even the ones in the midst of the deepest storm. His name is Jesus.
You might be in a horrible storm or maybe just in some strong winds. But wherever you are and however you feel, He is always your lifeguard.
He doesn’t just watch over you and keep you save from harm but He also pulls you back up when someone or something has pushed you down.

Often we don’t even realize all the times where our lifeguard saved us/ kept us from harm.
I want to encourage you to ask God for a mind that sees the ways He works in your life. So that you might be able to thank Him.
I also want to tell you that you can call out to God for help. He is there at his post, like a lifeguard at the beach, waiting for you to call out to Him. You don’t need to feel like you bother God when you ask Him for help. He loves honest people and His shoulders are broad enough for all your troubles!

But now, you might not all the time be in the midst of a great storm. Well during those „good” times praise God and use your life as a worship to Him.
To be exact, praise God in every situation. I have started to praise God always when I feel „down“. It takes a step of faith to do that and I know it might be hard to praise when you feel like shouting of anger/sadness/... But I promise you that you will feel better with a time of worship than a time of burning in anger/sorrow/...
God will refresh your soul. It might not happen in the same second but you will realize that God really gives peace.
As a plus, when you praise Him your relationship with Him gets stronger.

So call out to God first and remember to worship Him. Because He wants to give you the peace and the rest for your soul. So when you worship, you give God the sign that you really want it and not just that but you also grant Him the thanks that He deserves.

Some verses:
Isaiah 40:31
Ephesians 2:8
Philippians 4:6

This was today’s message for you!
Be blessed this last week in December 2k17 :)
