Homemade box!

Hi!

I have been doing some crafts again. I made from a boring shoebox a really cute box. I decorated it with self-adhesive plastic, or whatever it is. ;-)
Here is how I did it step by step ( I hope there are all the steps ;- ).

Valentines day room decor!

Hello!

I changed the order on my desk a bit. The flower was on my small bookshelf, I tied some ribbons on the pen holders...

I also made some magnets for my magnet board. I decorated some simple white magnets and made some other ones too with stickers.

BTW Happy Valentines Day!!!

Pillowcase nr. 1

Hi everyone!

I love pillowcases and I wanted a new one. So I went to IKEA and bought 2 simple white pillowcases, golden textile paint and I decorated one of them already. Steps to do:

1/ tape the pieces with tape what you want to keep white

2/ MIX paint and put in on a plate (or  a cup or something)

3/ start painting -> tapping with a sponge

4/ when it's dry, pull the tape of
VoilĂ , your pillowcase is done!
Ps. Here are some helpful instructions / info's :
Put some newspaper in the pillowcase so the paint doesn't come through on the otherside.

This is the name of the pillowcase (IKEA)

The paintings are ready!!!

Hellloooo!!!
Now both of our paintings are ready and hanging on the wall. We added to both of the pictures some dots to make it more even. We added...

...some text on the picture on the left. I chose three words that I like a lot and we wrote those in different kinds of handriting on the canvas.
Now my wall is full enough ;-)

4/ paint everithing (elefant: black, flowers: pink, yellow, green,...-> if you don't have the colours you like then mix them)
5/ go over the text with your marker and over the outlines of the flowers
6/ draw some extra dots (if you want to get the picture in balance)
And voilá, your indian picture is ready!

My room!!!

Hi!

Here are some picture of my room. Once in a while I change things or move them around! It's a kind of a hobby for me. :-) Most of my stuff is from IKEA because there things are so cheap and they easily go with different decorations. I also use a lot of paper bags to put stuff in them, like on the first picture.
My bed is also from IKEA but I painted it and made a new headboard on it with my mom.

Spa day!

Hello again!

I love face masks, smoothie and a warm footbath! So once in a while I make a SPA afternoon...
Last time I made smoothie with berries, ice cream and banana. It was very good!
The facemask is from a shop called HEMA in Belgium. I love that shop!!!

Puzzle challenge!!!

Hi!

My mom and me love to do puzzles, it relaxes us and it's fun ;-) My favorite puzzles are funny 'active' puzzles! But because we like it so much we started this challenge: 'We have to make at least 6x 1000-piece puzzles in a year!' But I think we will be able to make even more than 6 because we have made already 3 or 4 by now. :-) We found 2 very cheap puzzles in a toystore that was going to close and for X-mas I also got few puzzles. Just as a hint: we buy Ravensburger puzzles, they are the best!

Arrows on a canvas

Hi everyone!

This is a sneakpeek to the painting I made lately. I made it because I love decorating my room! There was an empty space on my wall that needed some refreshment. I use acrylic artist paints because they dry fast and are easy to clean.
Steps to do:
1. paint a large canvas white by using  a large brush
2. let it dry
3. use black paint to paint the arrows with small flat brush
4. let it dry again

Have fun!!!
