. CHOSEN .

Hi there!

Sory, I haven’t blogged in a while, I‘ve been very busy.
But anyway let’s begin ;-).

We all are chosen! We are chosen by God to be in the situation we are in.

You might be in a situation right now that you don’t like and you might be asking the question „why me?“.
The answer is simple: God chose you not to punish or to harm you! But simply to teach you something/ use you trough this/ strengthen you/ make you braver/...
Right now you might not understand what God wants to do trough your situation but you will understand it in time!!!

God also knows what you want. He knows who you are and his plans will fit to your personality. Even though you are right now in a situation you don’t really „like“ (your job, place you live in,...) Gods plan is based on what you like. He might use this period later in a part of your life that you do „like“.

So trust God and know that He has chosen you! Whatever you do and in whatever season you are believe this. You are special and God chose YOU!

Sicknesses...

Hey everyone!

Today I just want to tell you guys something little that I have realized while going trough this (difficult) part of my life.

So in the summer of 2016 I was diagnosed with a scin disease wich was quite serious. I got strong medications for it, I had a lot of doctor visits, a lot of tests were done to me,...
The medication made me very tired. This tiredness wasn’t just a tiredness that goes away with some sleep but a sort of fatigue that is there all the time.
I still have this sickness, this medication, these doctor appointments,... and it all still makes me very tired.
I get a lot of support from family and friends (older than me). But somehow I feel like people my own age (but also some addults) don’t really get how I really feel.
In school I need to do less and I get to come home urlier. And my friends who know my sickness often are kind of „jealous“ of these special things. But in reality I would rather be healthy and do all schoolwork instead of being sick!

I know that some (many) of you have a familymember, a friend or someone in their life who has some sort of sickness. Wether it’s a skin disease, a chronical sickness, cancer or something else but things like that always are hard. It seems for others like it’s not such a big deal but in reality it takes a lot of energy to be sick.
I would love that more people my own age would really ask me questions like how are you doing?, how do you feel?, can I do something for you?...
And that they wouldn’t get jealous because I get to go home urlier or get to skip a test.
(I‘m not mad at my friends, in many ways they love me and support me. But I just want to tell you the point of view from a sick person because this might help you to understand.)

So I encourage you all to go to these people that you know are suffering some sort of sickness and ask them if they want to talk, need help,...
=> support them!
Ask them also to explain their sickness and feelings to you so that you may understand them better. Because you can look from the outside but that often isn’t how they really feel.

Here are some texts that I found really describe well how people feel with sicknesses:

I hope you take my advice and start showing support to people with sicknesses (pray for them, talk with them, help them,...). Please understand that being sick isn’t fun and be thankful for your health!

Have a blessed end of the week!

LOVE

Heeyyy!!!

Hope you’re doing all fine!

Todays topic is love. There are different ways where love is used so let me clarify about what love we’re going to talk: love between friends and godly love.

First of all „godly love“. God loves us soooo much! You can’t even imagine how much.
Sometimes (or well let’s say often) we wonder why He loves us since we are sinners and far away from perfect. He loves us because He created us, because He is our father.
And you might think that okey He loves me but how since I don’t always love Him back?
We ask this question because we only look with a „worldly“ perspective: love others but if they don’t love you back, you don’t need to love them anymore.
But that’s not who God is! He loves us because He does not depend on our love. And if we love God and have a relationship with God then He will give us the love we need so that we are not depending on the love we get from the world. This brings us to love between friends.
=> relationship with God -> love that overflows -> you don’t depend on the love of people around you -> you will be able to love everyone

Now with the love you have from God you can start working for God by loving people who need love.
And don’t say okey I will love people and then just love the ones you want to love. NO, love everyone and especially those who are in deep need. Because Jesus also died for everyone!

When you love people you will not only be giving them love but also help. And because you took the time to help them they will be able to figure themselves out too. They will get to know who they really are and the hope that God has given us.
And also remember that this work you do by just loving is also a way to serve God.

One last thing! The people you help might never tell you in person how much your love helped them. But don’t let that discourage you because that’s just another sneaky way from the devil so that you would stop spreading Gods love!

Here are still some bible verses to this topic:
John 13:34
1 John 4:11
1 John 3:23
(There are many more verses about this. I just listed a few of them)

Be blesses this week!!!

...choice...

Hii ♡

Todays topic is about a choice everyone has to make, with or without evidence.
So let’s start!

First of all read Matthew 28:19.

God tells us to go into the world and make disciples. He asks us to SPREAD his word.
But sometimes we understand this as „go spread the word and make shure everyone believes it“. This is not what God means. He has given everyone a free will so He lets you choose: whether you believe in Him or you don’t. He does not force you to believe in Him. He could but he doesn’t do that!
So now what He asks you to do is to TELL the world about Him. This means that He gives everyone that choice.
But now you might think „what’s the point in just telling people?“. Here is the point: you tell people so that they can have this fair choice. You can’t make a choice if you only now one part of the question. (Example: your mom asks: worms or pasta? -> if she only tells you that she could make worms you will never now that there could have been something better.)
We need to tell people about God so that they can really make a choice.
You will see that many people will choose God. Not only because of what you have told them about God but also because of your style of living (being kind, loving, caring...).
But REMEMBER: you’re job is just to tell about God and give them a real chance to make this choice. After telling you just can pray and be an example to them by living a christian life.
So don’t force people to make the same choice as you.
Also read:
Isaiah 58:10-11
Joshua 1:9
Ephesians 5:1-2
!!!John 1:1-13!!!
Revelation 3:20
(Maybe I have put some of these verses already in my earlier blogposts but they are just so powerful :))

Summerizing images:

-> if people don’t know God there only choice can be something else than God

-> we need to show people who God is so that they can make a fair choice

Be blessed ♡

FAITH!

Heyy!!!

Long time since I have blogged but here I go again ;-).

I read this bible verse this week:
„These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.“
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:39-40‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It reminded me about something that had been bothering me for a while.
I thought that because you don’t get something you have to trie harder and harder all the time and if you are not able to get it you are a failure. But that isn’t true!
We need God to help us „get“ things. He doesn’t do all the work but He helps us and gives us strength, wisdom,... (for example: you need to walk yourself, God wil not walk for you but He will give you strength to be able to walk).
But sometimes God doesn’t help us because it is not what He has planned for us. You might want something that isn’t what God wants for you. Then you are trying and trying to get it by your own strength and you won’t be able to get it (or atleast not in the way you wanted it). And often when you don’t get it, you feel like you failed. But that isn’t really true: you just failed because it wasn’t the will of God. You need to trust God, do the things that He askes you to do and trust in His plan. His plan never fails.
It might be that He has promised you something but you haven’t „got“ it yet and you feel like God forgot (you) or that it wasn’t from God. But don’t feel like that because God promises you that His plan is perfect and that when it is the right time for Him, He will give you what He promised!
Have faith in what God has planned for you and the promises He made.
(Read also Hebrews 11:1)

Stay blessed ♡

♡ Light, love, peace ♡

Hey people!!

Here I am again with a new painting :,-). But I just want to share this with you because I feel like there is a message behind this picture!

So when you first look at this picture you see a guy and a girl. Your first reaction is like „oo romantic“.
But when you think again you might see what I see in it: the „guy“ isn’t just a guy but is Jesus.
You see that this girl is standing in the midst of darkness but then there is that light...
This light is formed like a heart. Because God promised us that He would send His son to this world to bring light and love.  Romans 5:8
In the right corner of the heart you see some red color. This symbolizes Jesus who died at the cross so our sins would be forgiven. 1 Peter 2:24

You might be walking trough darkness, trough hard times. But you don’t need to stay away from God, His love, His help, His forgiveness,...
Sometimes we think because we are in darkness we can’t enjoy God or His love and presence. But that’s a lie!!! God wants us to walk with Him and trust Him even when it’s hard.
Sometimes your not able to walk with Him but he is patient: He will wait for you and start walking again when you are ready. But even while your still and resting He is there and you can rest in His presence.

Don’t be ashamed to spend time with God. He wants to spend time with you even while your broken.
He loves us and we need to believe it too! He send His only son to this world to save us. So if that isn’t a reason why we should believe that He really loves us I don’t know what would.

1 John 1:7
John 8:12
Joshua 1:9
Romans 8:38
1 John 4:10
Isaiah 9:2

Be blessed this comming week
